John Adams, CPA, is the owner and principal leader of Bridgewater Tax and Financial Consulting, bringing over two decades of expertise in accounting, tax planning, and financial management to clients across industries. John Adams started preparing tax returns at 19 years old as a staff accountant at Jorge A Rodriguez, CPA in Miami in 1995. He went on to receive a Bachelors in Finance from the University of Florida. Mr. Adams also holds a Doctorate in Business Administration specializing in leadership, an MBA in accounting. He has been an accounting professor specializing in various accounting topics, and has been a guest lecturer at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. John combines academic excellence with practical experience to deliver high-level, personalized financial services.
As a trusted advisor, John specializes in tax planning and preparation, accounting and financial statement preparation, and fractional CFO services. His approach centers on building quality relationships with clients, ensuring personalized solutions that align with their financial goals. John is also passionate about educating his clients, empowering them with strategies to enhance their financial situation and achieve long-term success.
John has shared his expertise through presentations at universities and professional organizations, including the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FiCPA) and the Martin County Human Resources Association. His dedication to the profession is reflected in his memberships with the National Association of Tax Professionals, the West Palm Beach Chapter of FiCPA, and his role as an Advisory Board Member at Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Rinker School of Business.
When he’s not guiding clients or mentoring young accountants, John enjoys running and spending quality time with his family. He is a proud husband and father of three children, finding balance between professional excellence and personal fulfillment.
